What is Dirt Work?

Here at Mr. Patio, located in Tampa, FL, most of our work involves concrete, be it pouring foundational slabs, building walls, or constructing custom structures. However, we also work with other materials, including dirt. Filling dirt is incredibly useful for a huge range of projects. Correctly applied, it can reshape and transform a given area. For example, if your yard has a dip or a slope that makes lawn maintenance difficult, Mr. Patio can come in and add fill dirt to smooth out your land and make it even, making it much easier to mow or garden upon. Recently, Mr. Patio completed a project that involved optimizing a soccer field for play. We installed a tremendous amount of dirt and did it at a 2% pitch, making it ideal for the sport. That’s just one example of the kind of versatility that fill dirt can provide, especially when applied by a professional.
